Fitch Ratings has affirmed India-based Bharti Airtel (Bharti) long-term foreign-currency issuer default rating (IDR) and senior unsecured rating at 'BBB-'.
Fitch has also assigned Bharti Airtel International (Netherlands) B.V's 3% CHF350m senior unsecured guaranteed notes due 2020 a final rating of 'BBB-'.
The stock had underperformed the market over the past one month till May. 9, 2014, falling 4.07% compared with the Sensex's 1.29% rise.
It underperformed the market in past one quarter, declining 1.83% as against 12.85% rise in the Sensex.
Shares of the company gained Rs 2.15, or 0.7%, to settle at Rs 310.05. The total volume of shares traded was 259,999 at the BSE (Friday).
